| MACLUMBER SPHERIX® is an advanced composite material manufactured from recycled plastic resin and Spherix® particles, which is Alumino silicate that has biocide properties. It retards the growth of barnacles. It is designed to replace treated lumber in non-structural applications. It is ideal for decks, docks, landscaping, and any other outdoor application where wood would require frequent maintenance. MACLUMBER SPHERIX® requires no stain or sealer. No special tools are required and can be sawed, planed, nailed, routed, or sanded with normal woodworking equipment. A carbide-tipped blade is recommended (18-20 teeth for a 7 1/4" saw blade). Nails do not back out of MACLUMBER SPHERIX®. |
